WhatsApp is rolling out New Text Status Update Interface for Beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play beta program with this update the version reaches to 2.22.11.13. According to the reports some lucky users may also receive the same feature in some previous WhatsApp updates.

WhatsApp’s new text status update interface
Two months back WhatsApp had introduced a new privacy feature to manage your status settings available in a future update. Few days back the WABetaInfo announced that the WhatsApp was working on a feature that brings the ability to give quick reactions for status updates. After that in another report the tracker mentioned about one more under development feature for status updates which will reportedly show status updates within chat list.
After this series of under development features and the release of a new footer for end to end encryption. In this new update the platform finally brings a status update feature which is already available for testing to some select Android Beta testers.
WhatsApp has placed the emoji, text and background color selector from bottom to the top of the screen making the section look same as WhatsApp iOS interface. The report further mentions that if the redesigned caption view feature is already available to your WhatsApp account. It will also be visible while creating a text update.

Additionally with the availability of caption view feature you can also change the audience for your current text status quickly. However you will have to open your WhatsApp’s privacy settings to change the audience of your future status updates.
