BGMI unban in India: Reality or Fake
The Indian version of PUBG, BGMI got banned in India under section 69A of the IT act for security issues. It was alleged that its makers shared Indian users’ data with China. Looking at the security of its users’ identity, the Indian government had taken this decision.
While this decision disappointed the game fans, recently there were some rumors that suggested the return of the game. Some fake images had also appeared on the internet highlighting the un-ban date. The images suggested that BGMI was going to make it come back on Google Play Store and Apple app store on the 22nd of August 2022.
The time for iOS gamers was scheduled to be around 4:00 p.m. according to Indian Standard time and between 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for Android gamers. As the date and time were mentioned about the unbanning of the popular games, this made the game lovers hopeful.

But according to the researchers, the news turned out to be fake. However, the statement of Stalwart Esports the co-founder had still kept the hopes of the game fans high. He stated about the chances of BGMI’s unban in India on his Instagram handle.
As per the reports he also mentioned it in a live session. He stated that In a meeting of concerned personalities it was concluded that BGMI might make a comeback within a month. Although MEITY had suspended the game’s purchase and download, still rumors regarding its return have spread.
As you see that the mentioned date of the unban is over and Battlegrounds Mobile India is yet not available on either Google Play Store or the Apple app store. So this is a big disappointment for Indian players.
